Beth Weber was in worship with us on Sunday…it was wonderful to see her out of the hospital and doing so well…we missed you Beth & we give thanks to God for your improved health!!!
Laura & Charles Cooper have a new 18 month old baby girl in their foster care. We welcome baby “Maggie!”
It was wonderful to have Dustin Hampton back in choir with us last Sunday!
Caroline Goessling blessed us with a beautiful vocal solo, “Who Am I?” Thank you Caroline…you are a blessing to us!

Prayer Concerns
Dennis Young had oral surgery on August 19th…please keep Dennis in your prayers. 15 East Truitt St. Dexter
Clark Jones, 2 week old son of Chasidy Wamble Jones, who had open heart surgery at Children’s Hospital in St. Louis for a hole in his heart is now home and doing well! You may remember that Brent Wamble is waiting on a bone marrow transplant. His sister, Chasidy, will be tested as a possible donor after Clark’s surgery. (Brent is the nephew of Clifford Wamble.) Please be in prayer for this family!
Linda Leist will have surgery for uterine cancer September 2nd. Doctors will initially do a robotic laparoscopic hysterectomy. If they find more than expected, they will need to do an abdominal hysterectomy which would mean a longer recovery time. Brianna Gossett, our new Education Coordinator, needs our prayer support. Her aunt is bedfast and now her uncle has been diagnosed with lung cancer. This is the couple who helped raise Brianna. Paula Medler will be flying back to Tucson on Sunday. She will be back in Dexter in November. Please pray for safety in travel for Paula.
Norma Elsworth is experiencing blood pressure problems and is in the Dexter Hospital. Please keep her close in your daily prayers.
Lexi Morgan, great neice of Betty & Jerry overfelt, is doing much better! She has been diagnoised with severe asthma and she is now on therapy that has her asthma under control! We give thanks to God for that good news for this little one!
Raymond Winn, Jerry’s uncle, had successful surgery on his right knee and is in a nursing home for rehab. He is already able to walk with the aide of a walker…pretty good for a 98 year old!!!
Please pray for all of the college students who begin or return to their respective universities this month, Please remember to be in prayer for their families…especially those of college freshmen!

Sara Elfrink developed a bacterial infection this week and had to be hospitalized for a short time. She is doing better and back at college. Please pray Sara continues to improve. Sara is the daughter of Stan & Tracy Elfrink.
Mike Carlson, the young man that was hit on the mower on AD Hwy this summer, has been moved to a rehab facility this week in Chesterfield, Missouri. He still has not awakened, but has made some small gains. With a brain injury there is no way to predict the future and doctors are unable to give time frames, etc. Please keep Mike, his wife Dana & their 3 children in your prayers. Address for Mike:
